Mahindra to start deliveries only for 4 variants initially These include MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L trims The deliveries of MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, AX7 and AX7 L will start next month
Last week, Mahindra started accepting bookings for the recently launched XUV 3XO SUV. About 50,000 units have been secured till now. Deliveries for the same are scheduled to begin from May 26. Recent reports suggest that Mahindra is likely to deliver only select variants of the XUV 3XO.
The XUV 3XO is offered with nine trims - MX1, MX2, MX2 PRO, MX3, MX3 PRO, AX5, AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L. Out of these, Mahindra will start deliveries only for four trims at the initial level.
These four trims include AX5 (Rs 10.69 lakh, ex-showroom), AX5 L (Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom), MX3 (Rs 9.49 lakh, ex-showroom), and MX3 Pro (Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom).
Apart from these, the despatches for the entry-level MX1 (Rs 7.49 lakh, ex-showroom), MX2 (Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom), and MX2 Pro (Rs 8.99 lakh, ex-showroom) have not started yet. Deliveries for these trim lines are expected to begin by June 2024.
Sources suggest the top two AX7 (Rs 12.49 lakh, ex-showroom) and AX7 L (Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom) are likely to be despatched by late June or early July.
Mahindra XUV 3XO is powered by three engine options - a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. Transmission jobs are handled by 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, and the 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The fuel efficiency of the XUV 3XO ranges from 18.89 kmpl for turbo-petrol manual and 21.20 kmpl for diesel AMT.
