Maruti e Vitara bookings to open soon Sales from January 2026 61kWh battery to offer 543Km range
Maruti Suzuki has revealed the battery specifications, range and other key details of the soon-to-be-launched e Vitara electric SUV in India. The company has officially announced that the sales of the Maruti e Vitara will commence in January 2026, and its bookings will open soon.
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be available in 3 variants, namely Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Two battery options will be on offer, including a 49kWh and 61kWh. The base Delta trim will be offered with the smaller battery, while the Zeta and Alpha trims will be offered with the 61kWh battery pack.
The electric SUV is claimed to offer an ARAI certified range of 543km in a single charge. MSIL hasn’t released the range of the 49kWh version. Moreover, the specifications of the electric motor is also not disclosed. The e Vitara will be available with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and assured buyback. It will also be available via a subscription model.
