Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Interiors and Features Teased Ahead of Launch

Maruti Suzuki has teased interiors of the new-gen Alto K10; Gets AMT transmission option; Launch on 18th August.

Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) is all set to introduce the next generation of its most popular hatchback, the Alto K10 in the country. The entry level hatchback is set to come with enhanced styling, updated powertrain and a host of new feature additions. Just days ahead of its launch, the homegrown automaker has shared a teaser showcasing the four-wheeler’s interiors.

2022 All-New Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: New Features

High on tech, the new Alto K10 will be provided with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will also get a new steering wheel with audio controls to go with the new infotainment system. The new layout interiors will now be finished in all-black bringing it up to speed with other hatchbacks from the company. On the safety front, the car now gets dual front airbags, ABS and reverse parking sensors among others.

The teaser also gives a glimpse of the reprofiled rear end which now sports round tail lamps and a sculpted boot door. The car is expected to come in 5 exciting colour options, namely Silky White, Speedy Blue, Earth Gold, Sizzling Red and Granite Grey

2022 All-New Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Powertrain 

In terms of powertrain, the new-gen Alto will see the arrival of AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission on select trims along with an updated 1.0 litre K Series dual jet dual VVT engine. This unit puts out a maximum power output of 67 bhp and peak torque of 89 Nm. A CNG version is expected to arrive later.

The new hatch will be based on the HEARTECT platform which also underpins the S-Presso, Celerio and many other hatchbacks from the company.
