Mercedes GLE, GLE Coupe and GLS facelifts debut on March 31 Updated interiors with Superscreen and latest MBUX tech India launch likely in 2027
Mercedes-Benz is set for another major announcement this month. The brand has confirmed that the facelifted versions of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and Mercedes-Benz GLS will be revealed globally on March 31.
This comes shortly after recent unveilings from the brand, making March a packed month for Mercedes.
These upcoming models will be mid-life facelifts, so the overall design and structure will remain largely the same.
However, expect some noticeable tweaks. The SUVs are likely to get a refreshed front look with updated bumpers, a slightly tweaked grille, and redesigned LED headlamps. The lighting could also feature the brand’s signature star-like pattern for a more premium feel.

The real upgrades are expected inside the cabin.
Mercedes is likely to introduce its new Superscreen layout, which combines multiple displays into one large glass panel across the dashboard. This setup has already been seen in newer models from the brand.
Along with this, the SUVs could get the latest MBUX system with improved AI features, offering a smoother and more intuitive user experience. Small changes like new air vents and an updated steering wheel are also expected.
Under the hood, the changes will be more about refinement than major upgrades.
The GLE is expected to continue with its inline-six engine, now paired with mild-hybrid technology for better efficiency. On the other hand, the GLS could receive a more powerful V8 engine, adding to its performance appeal.

Although these SUVs already received an update in 2023, this new facelift aims to keep them fresh in a competitive market.
After the global debut on March 31, the updated models are expected to go on sale internationally later this year or early 2027. For India, a launch could happen sometime in 2027.
