New Sierra makes a strong comeback this November. Available in both ICE and EV options. Bold design, premium tech and long range appeal.
Tata Motors has revealed the first official teaser of the Tata Sierra 2025, confirming its market launch on November 25, 2025. This marks the comeback of the iconic Sierra name in a brand-new avatar. The new Sierra will be positioned between the Curvv and Harrier in Tata’s SUV lineup, making it an important model in the November 2025 car launches.

The 2025 Tata Sierra will be offered with ICE powertrains first, followed by a fully electric version later. The Tata Sierra ICE range is expected to include multiple 1.5-litre engine options: a naturally aspirated petrol, a turbocharged TGDi petrol, and a diesel variant.
The new turbo-petrol engine is likely to produce around 168 PS and 280 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The electric Sierra is expected to share its platform with the Harrier EV. Two battery pack options are likely, with the larger battery capable of offering over 500 km driving range. Fast charging support and bidirectional charging will also be offered.
The new Sierra retains one of its most loved design elements - the wraparound rear glass panel. However, the 2025 model looks sleeker and more aerodynamic. The SUV features squared wheel arches, a wide LED light bar at the rear, and new split LED headlamps at the front.
Its stance is muscular, giving it a bold road presence similar to Tata’s latest design language seen on Curvv and Harrier.
Inside, the Tata Sierra 2025 is expected to offer a premium cabin with a modern layout. The dashboard may feature three individual screens — one for the driver, one for infotainment, and one for the front passenger.
Likely features include:
- Dual-tone interior theme
- Panoramic sunroof
- Ambient lighting
- Wireless charger
- Ventilated front seats
- Harman premium audio system
Safety and tech equipment may include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, an electronic parking brake, and multiple drive/terrain modes.
Tata Sierra ICE models will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and Toyota Hyryder. The Sierra EV will take on Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra XEV 9e, and the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser EV.
