The next-gen Kia Seltos will be revealed globally on December 10, 2025, in Korea. After the success of the first model, which launched in India, the 2026 Seltos will come with a new look, improved features, and updated engine options. This updated version promises to offer more style and better technology. The India launch is expected to happen sometime in 2026, giving Indian customers an exciting new choice in the SUV market.

The new Seltos will sport a completely overhauled design, taking inspiration from Kia’s larger Telluride SUV. The next-gen Seltos will have a more boxy and rugged look, moving away from the angular profile of the current model. The front features a wider grille, squared headlamps with orange DRLs, and a more defined body structure with thick cladding around the wheel arches.
The rear will have a squarish profile, with a redesigned tailgate, new LED tail-lights that resemble those of the Telluride, and flared wheel arches. The new Seltos will also come with a shark fin antenna and a roof-integrated spoiler for a sportier look.
Inside, the next-gen Kia Seltos will be heavily inspired by larger models like the Kia Carnival and EV9. It will feature a Syros-like connected screen with a 12.3-inch digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch infotainment system, alongside a 5-inch climate control display.
In terms of features, the new Seltos will come equipped with dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, ventilated seats, LEVEL 2 ADAS, and front parking sensors, making it one of the most advanced mid-size SUVs in its segment.
Under the hood, the next-gen Seltos will offer a range of petrol and diesel engines. These could include a 1.5L NA petrol engine, a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 1.5L turbo diesel engine. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be available for these variants, allowing customers to choose according to their preference.
A hybrid version of the Seltos is also expected to join the lineup, featuring a newly developed powertrain that uses the 1.5L NA petrol unit, offering a more eco-friendly option for buyers.
The next-gen Kia Seltos launch date in India is expected to be sometime in 2026, after its global unveiling. The 2026 Kia Seltos price is expected to be slightly higher than the current model due to the updated features and new design. However, Kia will continue to offer competitive pricing, making the new Seltos an attractive choice for those seeking a modern, feature-packed SUV.
