The homegrown automaker, Mahindra is ready to unleash multiple new SUVs, including 4 concepts and new-gen Bolero Neo on August 15, 2025. Ahead of the official launch, the new-gen Mahindra Bolero Neo has been caught testing again on the public roads. The latest spy images confirm that the new Bolero Neo will receive massive changes both inside and outside.
The new Mahindra Bolero Neo has been caught testing in Kolli Malai, which is known as Koli Hills in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. The spotted model was fully covered, but it reveals some of the design highlights.
The SUV has a strong road presence, which mimics bigger and expensive off-roaders like Land Rover Defender and Ford Bronco. It carries a boxy and rugged appearance. The new Mahindra Bolero Neo has squared face with flat bonnet and squarish wheel arches.
The front fascia has resemblance with the Scorpio-N and the Thar Roxx. It features a signature Mahindra multi-slat grille, round-shaped LED headlights and a rugged front bumper. The SUV could also get RADAR at the front for ADAS tech and a 360-degree surround view camera.
The new Mahindra Bolero Neo retains the boxy profile, featuring squarish window line, and flat surfaces. It was caught with diamond-cut alloy wheels, which appears similar to that of the Mahindra XUV700. It gets new glass area, flush-type door handles and a more rugged, prominent body cladding.
The rear continues to feature side-hinged door and a tailgate mounted spare wheel. The SUV has a prominent shoulder line that merges with the vertically-stacked tail-lamps.
The new-gen Mahindra Bolero Neo is likely to be equipped with several high-end features, which are missing in the current model. It is likely to receive major upgrades in the form of new dashboard layout and premium upholstery. It is expected to receive a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a similarly-sized digital driver’s display.
Other features could include ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, powered ORVMs, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors and others. It is likely to get six airbags as standard, ESC, hill launch and descent control, and others for safety and security. The SUV could also get ADAS with features like autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam and others.
The current Bolero Neo is powered by a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 100 PS and 260Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. We expect the next-gen Mahindra Bolero Neo to get a more powerful 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that powers the Thar and XUV 3XO.
