The new SUV is likely to measure around 4.6 meters in length, and a wheelbase of around 2.7 meters. The SUV could be revealed by Diwali, and its launch is expected in Q1, 2027.
Renault will give a mid-life makeover to its smallest hatchback, the Kwid. It will receive subtly revised design and interior along with a longer list of features. It will have a revised front grille, headlamps and tail-lamps. Other design changes could get new alloy wheels, new LED lighting elements and refreshed bumpers. Inside the cabin, the hatchback could get a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, a new digital driver’s display, and new colour scheme. It will continue to be offered with a 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine. Transmission choices include a 5MT and a 5AMT.
The company is preparing a new sub-4 meter SUV, mini Duster for the Indian market. To be positioned between the Kiger and Duster, the new compact SUV will have an upright stance and boxy design with rugged body cladding and large wheels.
