Skoda Octavia lovers need no longer to wait! The Czech automaker has revealed a series of design sketches for the facelifted Octavia, revealing its sleeker exterior styling. The refreshed model will make its global debut on February 14, 2024. It will be available in Sportline and performance-oriented RS versions. In addition, the Next-Gen Octavia will be offered in two body styles; sedan and estate. In India however, we can expect only the sedan to be launched.
As seen in the design sketches, the Octavia Facelift will feature a redesigned front bumper, signature butterfly grille with vertical slats, and new LED Matrix headlights with new angular V-shaped DRLs. It will run on a new set of alloy wheels. Besides, the rear profile will highlight a reworked bumper and sharp LED taillights.
Interior of the refreshed Octavia is yet to be revealed. However, it is believed to feature Blue accents on the inside. Other expected features will include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a revamped dashboard, and new upholstery.
For the updated Octavia, Skoda is likely to offer some new features. It will consist of connected car tech, ambient lighting, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging pad, powered front seats, powered tailgate, USB Type-C ports, and more.
As of now, there is no official information on the powertrain options. However, it is expected to carry the same engine as the existing model. Speculations suggest that mild-hybrid assistance (either for a single or for all powertrain options) is likely to be on offer for the facelifted Octavia.
