March 2026 will see the launch of two V8-powered luxury cars in India. One is a high-performance hybrid supercar from Ferrari, and the other is a powerful SUV from Audi. Here is a simple look at both models.
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa will launch in India on 14 March 2026. It will replace the Ferrari SF90 Stradale in the company’s line-up. Prices are expected to start above Rs. 10 crore (ex-showroom).
This model uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack. The total output is 1,050 bhp. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in under 2.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 kmph. It also offers up to 25 km of pure electric driving range.
In terms of design, it takes inspiration from the classic Testarossa name and features a wide body with strong aerodynamic elements. A Spider version with a retractable hard-top will also be offered. Inside, the cabin has a driver-focused layout with digital displays and premium materials.

Audi SQ8 is expected to launch in India on 17 March 2026. It will be positioned between the Audi Q8 and the Audi RS Q8.
The SQ8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 500 BHP and 770 Nm of torque. It comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. Audi claims it can go from 0-100 km/h in around 4.0 seconds.
On the outside, the SUV gets a sporty design with a Singleframe grille, silver inserts, connected LED tail-lights and quad exhaust tips. It rides on 22-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system and a second screen for climate controls.
With these two launches, March 2026 will bring both a V8 hybrid supercar and a V8-powered luxury SUV to the Indian market.
