Hyundai Creta is set for a big update. Fresh renderings based on recent spy shots give us a clear idea of how the Next-Gen Hyundai Creta could look. The Third generation Hyundai Creta is expected to bring major design changes, more technology inside the cabin and improved safety.
Hyundai is planning to reveal the new Creta in the second half of 2026, with a market launch likely in 2027. If everything goes as planned, the Next-Gen Creta launch date could be announced sometime in 2027.

Next-Gen Creta is expected to get a completely new look. The front design appears inspired by Hyundai’s global electric models like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Hyundai Nexo.
The renders show a split headlamp setup with pixel-style LED daytime running lights stretching across the front. Multiple LED units are placed in the centre, giving it a sharp and modern appearance.
The grille area looks fully redesigned with black panels that could house the ADAS radar and front camera. A silver skid plate and unique fog lamps add a stronger SUV feel.
From the side, the 2027 Hyundai Creta looks bigger and more muscular. It gets thick body cladding, strong lines and large wheel arches. Flush door handles, new alloy wheels and roof rails are also expected. At the rear, slimmer LED tail-lamps and a redesigned bumper are likely.
The 2027 Hyundai Creta interior is expected to see major changes. Spy images suggest a cleaner and more modern dashboard layout. Hyundai is likely to use better quality materials and offer black leatherette seats in higher variants.
The Next-Gen Hyundai Creta will move to Hyundai’s new K3 platform. This new base is expected to improve safety and make the SUV stronger. It may also allow Hyundai to add more advanced driver assistance features.
A larger touchscreen infotainment system, a bigger digital instrument cluster and more connected features are likely. The longer wheelbase could also mean better rear seat space.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta 2027 is expected to keep the same engine options as the current model. These include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.
Both manual and automatic gearbox options are likely to continue. While power figures may remain similar, Hyundai is expected to improve fuel efficiency and refinement. A hybrid version could also be introduced later.
