Hyundai has also revealed its plans of introducing an all-new off-roader in the Indian market. In fact, the company has patented the design of Boulder SUV, which is a ladder-frame based model with 4x4 drivetrain. The same could be introduced in our market.
Hyundai has also announced to launch the Palisade full-sized SUV in our market by 2028. It could be introduced as a CKD unit with an expected price tag of around Rs 50-60 lakh. The SUV will be powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a strong hybrid tech. This engine produces 334hp of power and 460Nm of torque, and is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 14.1kmpl. A 6-speed automatic gearbox driving the power to front-wheels will come as standard. It comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard along with 3 drive modes - Eco, Sport and My Drive, and 3 terrain modes - Mud, Snow and Sand.
