Next-gen Hyundai i10 confirmed for India New A-segment electric SUV to arrive in Q4, 2026 Bayon, next-gen Creta to launch in 2026 and 2027, respectively

Hyundai Motor has officially announced to launch 26 new cars in the Indian market by 2030. The company has confirmed that it will introduce an all-new compact electric SUV in Q4, financial year 2026. Adding to it, the next-gen Creta, a new B-segment midsize SUV and the next-gen i10 hatchback are also confirmed for the Indian market. Here is the list of top 7 confirmed all-new Hyundai cars heading to India by 2030. 


Compact SUV EV


Hyundai has confirmed that its entry-level electric SUV will be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2026. This new electric SUV is expected to be based on the existing K1 BEV platform that also underpins the Hyundai Inster. Testing of the new model has already been commenced. The company has also confirmed that the new A-segment EV will get LEVEL 2 ADAS. Expected to be launched in Q1, 2027, the new electric SUV will be designed for India with heavy localisation. It is expected to be offered with two battery choices 0- 51.4 kWh and 42 kWh with former likely to offer a range of over 400km in a single charge. 


Hyundai 7-Seater MPV


At the last year’s investor summit, Hyundai had announced an all-new 7-seater MPV for the Indian market. In fact, the Korean automaker has recently showcased the Neira MPV concept at the 2026 GIIAS, and the same is expected to arrive in our market. The upcoming MPV will enable mobility for all, which suggests that it could be a sub-20 lakh product and will target masses. It is expected to measure around 4.5-4.6 meters in length, and will rival the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Clavis Carens. 


Hyundai Bayon


Hyundai has announced an all-new B-segment SUV for the Indian market. It is most likely to be the next-gen Bayon crossover that has been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads.The new Hyundai Bayon is expected to be launched by festive season, before Diwali. It is reportedly to be offered with a 1.5L NA petrol engine paired with a manual and a CVT automatic unit. The SUV will also get a factory-fitted CNG unit.


Next-gen Creta


Hyundai has confirmed the next-gen Creta SUV will be launched in our market in 2027. The new Creta will be based on the new K3 platform that also underpins the new Kia Seltos. The new model will grow in size, and is expected to measure close to 4.5 meters in length. The big news is that the new Creta will also get a strong hybrid engine, which is likely to utilise the 1.5L NA petrol engine. 


Hyundai Off-roader SUV


Hyundai has also revealed its plans of introducing an all-new off-roader in the Indian market. In fact, the company has patented the design of Boulder SUV, which is a ladder-frame based model with 4x4 drivetrain. The same could be introduced in our market. 


Hyundai Palisade


Hyundai has also announced to launch the Palisade full-sized SUV in our market by 2028. It could be introduced as a CKD unit with an expected price tag of around Rs 50-60 lakh. The SUV will be powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a strong hybrid tech. This engine produces 334hp of power and 460Nm of torque, and is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 14.1kmpl. A 6-speed automatic gearbox driving the power to front-wheels will come as standard. It comes with an all-wheel-drive system as standard along with 3 drive modes - Eco, Sport and My Drive, and 3 terrain modes - Mud, Snow and Sand. 


Next-gen i10


Hyundai has confirmed that the next-gen Grand i10 Nios will be launched in India. The exact launch timeline is yet to be announced, but it is most likely to arrive sometime in 2028-29. It is expected to grow in size, measuring close to 3.95 metres in length. It could replace the i20 as Hyundai’s only hatchback in our market. This small model is expected to come with ICE and EV powertrains.
