Toyota will introduce a 7-seater variant of its Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV in India. The new model will arrive in the 2025 festive season. The 7-seater variant will feature a longer wheelbase and increased length for the inclusion of a third row of seats, which will provide more room for passengers. The third row seats will be supported by the company using the boot space of the Hyryder.
7-seater Toyota Hyryder will be in the competition of most sought SUVs in India like Hyundai Alcazar and MG Hector Plus. SUVs have a significant share in the market already regarding size and feature. Toyota 7-seater will be distinctive among others in terms of giving fuel efficiency and hybrid engine models, which will be an ideal choice for family buyers who will like to own spacious and eco-friendly cars.
There will be two powertrains on offer with Toyota for the 7-seater Hyryder. Firstly, there is a 1.5-litre K15 mild-hybrid petrol powertrain. Secondly, there is a 1.5-litre TNGA strong-hybrid powertrain. The strong-hybrid engine will be very fuel-efficient, and the Toyota Hyryder will be India's most fuel-efficient 7-seater SUV. This will be a huge selling point with customers who are concerned about fuel efficiency as well as the environment.
Toyota Hyryder 7-seater would be a shared platform with Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Both the vehicles will therefore possess a couple of identical features and components and therefore are the most suitable option for those who are looking for reliability and value for money as well. The Toyota's 7-seater variant will even be extremely fuel efficient, even by more than 25 kmpl, as is the Maruti Grand Vitara.
The new Toyota 7-seater Hyryder will feature a new fresh design with a distinctive front chrome grille and sporty LED headlights. The body of the SUV will appear more muscular with a tougher bonnet and larger wheels. The extended rear doors will offer easy access to the third row of seats. At the back, the 7-seater will feature new tail lamps and a new bumper. This is designed to offer more space without being retro when it comes to styling.
Safety is one of the most important features of the Toyota Hyryder 7-seater. It must be packed with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which provide some of the foremost safety features to make the ride secure. They have features like lane-keep assist and auto emergency brakes, which make safety for family purpose better.
The Toyota Hyryder 7-seater will be manufactured at the newly set up Maruti Suzuki plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana. The car will be produced in 2025 and will soon hit the market. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder 7-seater will be manufactured with the goal of providing ample space and comfort to families that require more space.
