In terms of exterior design, the new C40 Recharge is identical to the XC40 Recharge from the front but gets an all-new rear-end design. The new coupe-like silhouette along with the steeply raked rear windscreen boot lip spoiler give the car some sporty character.
Other significant elements on the outside include a new Pixel LED headlamp with 'Thor's Hammer' DRLs, a closed-off grille with the Volvo logo in the centre, muscular bumpers and distinctive C-shaped LED taillamps with a vertical brake light bar. Also new are the 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels which complete the overall look of the car.
