Volvo Car India has officially launched the facelifted XC60 in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 71.90 lakh. The updated model comes with subtle exterior changes and impressive technology upgrades, while maintaining the petrol-hybrid powertrain.

The 2025 XC60 facelift retains its familiar silhouette but introduces a few changes to enhance its appearance. The updated design includes a diagonal-slat grille and newly redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels.

These revisions bring the XC60 more in line with the flagship Volvo XC90. However, the India-spec XC60 does not feature the front bumper changes or smoked tail-lights seen in the global model.
The facelifted XC60 now offers a new colour option called Forest Lake, in addition to the existing shades of Crystal White, Onyx Black, Denim Blue, Bright Dusk, and Vapour Grey. Notably, the Platinum Grey color has been discontinued.

Inside the cabin, the most significant upgrade is the introduction of a freestanding 11.2-inch touchscreen powered by Google. This new display is 2.2 inches larger and offers superior image quality. The system is powered by a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, ensuring smoother performance. For an enhanced audio experience, the XC60 comes with a 1410W Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 15 speakers.
The interior also features a 12.3-inch driver’s display, premium wood inlays, massaging front seats, and Nappa leather upholstery, adding to the overall luxury feel.
Volvo is known for its commitment to safety, and the new XC60 comes equipped with advanced safety features. The Volvo Smart Safety Network includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering features like:
- Cross-traffic alert with autobrake
- Blind spot monitoring
- Adaptive cruise control
- Lane and pilot assists
Additionally, the XC60 is equipped with 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, and other safety systems.

Under the hood, the facelifted XC60 retains the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as before. This engine produces 250hp and 360Nm of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The addition of a 48V mild-hybrid battery helps improve fuel efficiency and acceleration.
