Skoda Auto has revealed the first look at its upcoming Vision O concept car, set to make its global premiere at the 2025 Munich Motor Show. This futuristic concept previews the brand’s next-generation estate models and offers strong hints at the fully electric version of the Octavia.
The Skoda Vision O showcases the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, bringing cleaner lines, aerodynamic styling, and futuristic elements.
The teaser image reveals a sleek profile with a steeply raked windscreen, a gently sloping roofline, sharp LED headlamps and tail-lamps, and digital mirrors that replace traditional ones.
The Vision O is expected to be the foundation for the next-gen Skoda Octavia, likely to arrive later this decade. It is anticipated to use the Volkswagen Group’s SSP (Scalable Systems Platform), confirming a fully-electric Octavia is in the works.
Skoda has embedded the idea of circularity and eco-conscious design into the Vision O. The concept prioritises recyclable materials and sustainable development across the vehicle’s lifecycle.
Skoda CEO Klaus Zellmer stated the Vision O “highlights the future trajectory of estate models with a focus on new technology and sustainability.”
With more than 3 million Octavia Estates sold since 1998 and a 130-year heritage to celebrate, the Vision O serves as a bridge between Skoda’s historic past and electric future.
It follows a legacy of iconic models like the L&K 110, Superb Estate, and Tudor Station Wagon.
The Skoda Vision O concept will be officially unveiled in early September 2025 at the International Motor Show in Munich. It is expected to mark the beginning of a new chapter for Skoda’s estate lineup.
