The long-awaited Skoda Octavia RS 2025 is set to make its debut in India, and car enthusiasts are already eagerly anticipating its arrival. Skoda India has officially confirmed the pricing, booking, and delivery dates for the performance sedan, making it one of the most exciting new car launches in India for 2025.

Skoda India is all set to reveal the prices of the 2025 Octavia RS on October 17, 2025. Pre-bookings will open on October 6 through Skoda's official website, but with just 100 units allocated for India, it’s expected that these units will sell out quickly. After the price announcement, deliveries are slated to begin on November 6, 2025.
The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS stands out thanks to its sportier and more aggressive design elements. The exterior boasts gloss black accents, an RS-specific grille and badge, matrix LED headlights, and a rear diffuser with dual exhaust tips. These upgrades give the car a more dynamic and athletic look compared to the regular Octavia.
Inside, the cabin features sporty seats with lumbar support, exclusive RS badging, and suede/artificial leather upholstery with red contrast stitching. The use of aluminium pedals further enhances the sporty vibe, making the Octavia RS feel like a performance-focused machine.
Skoda has equipped the Octavia RS 2025 with smart technology and features. The car comes with a 13-inch infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. To ensure safety, the RS variant includes adaptive cruise control, up to 10 airbags, and a head-up display. For audiophiles, there is an optional premium Canton audio system, delivering an exceptional sound experience.
The price of the 2025 Skoda Octavia RS is expected to be between Rs 49 lakh and Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). This positions the Octavia RS alongside premium sedans like the BMW 330i M Sport, Mercedes-AMG A35, and Audi A4 40 TFSI. However, the limited availability - just around 200 units, and its CBU (Completely Built Unit) status will make it a premium offering with a higher price tag due to import duties and taxes.
The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS continues with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out an impressive 265hp and 370Nm of torque. This performance engine allows the Octavia RS to reach 0-100 kph in just 6.4 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. Paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, the Octavia RS promises a swift and responsive driving experience.
To further boost its performance, the RS comes with a 15 mm lower stance than the regular Octavia, featuring a sports chassis, stiffer dampers, and a more agile steering setup. The car also comes equipped with 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in performance-oriented tyres to improve grip and handling. Dynamic chassis control and a sports exhaust system further add to the overall driving dynamics and aggressive sound of the Octavia RS.
