Volvo XC60 Facelift Launching on August 1

Volvo is kicking off the month with the launch of the updated XC60 on August 1st. The facelifted model will bring fresh design changes, a revamped interior, and a more advanced infotainment system. The engine remains unchanged — a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit with mild-hybrid tech — offering a balance of performance and efficiency.

Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe to Arrive on August 12

Mercedes-Benz is adding some serious flair with the launch of the AMG CLE 53 Coupe on August 12. The sporty coupe features a signature Panamericana grille, quad exhausts, and up to 20-inch wheels. Inside, it comes loaded with an 11.9-inch touchscreen, a digital driver display, AMG steering wheel in Alcantara, ambient lighting, and a Burmester sound system. Under the hood, it packs a 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six engine making 449hp, allowing a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.2 seconds.

New Mahindra Compact SUV to Debut on August 15

Mahindra will reveal an all-new compact SUV on Independence Day. Likely under 4 metres in length, this SUV will sit on Mahindra’s new ‘nu’ monocoque platform. It’s expected to carry unique design elements inspired by the Thar Roxx and will be loaded with features inside. While exact specs are unknown, engine options may include 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel units. A hybrid version could follow later. The official name is still under wraps, with the market launch expected in 2026.

Mahindra Vision Concepts Unveiling on August 15

Alongside the compact SUV, Mahindra is also showcasing four new concepts under its Vision series – Vision SXT, X, T, and S.

- Vision SXT: Expected to be part of the Thar family with a rugged design.
- Vision X: Likely the upcoming XUV.e7 electric SUV.
- Vision T: A new iteration of the all-electric Thar.e concept.
- Vision S: Possibly the third model in the Scorpio range.

VinFast VF6 and VF7 Launching by August-End

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast will enter the Indian market with two new electric SUVs – VF6 and VF7.

- VF6 is a compact SUV (4,238mm) with a 204hp motor and 59.6kWh battery offering 480km range (WLTP).
- VF7, the larger sibling, gets up to 350hp with a 70.8kWh battery. WLTP range is 450km for FWD and 431km for AWD variants.

Both models come with premium features like a panoramic glass roof, touchscreen infotainment, ADAS, and fast charging. Bookings are already open, and the brand's first showroom has launched in Gujarat, with 34 more coming soon.
