Tata Motors has officially started delivering the Harrier EV to customers across India. The electric SUV was launched in June 2025, and now the first batch of buyers is receiving their vehicles. The Harrier EV marks a significant step forward in Tata’s electric vehicle journey.
The Tata Harrier EV is available in five variants:
- Adventure 65
- Adventure S 65
- Fearless+ 65
- Fearless+ 75
- Empowered 75
Prices for the electric SUV start at Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base RWD variant with a 65 kWh battery. The AWD variant begins at Rs 28.99 lakh, while the Stealth Edition ranges from Rs 28.24 lakh to Rs 29.74 lakh.
Built on Tata’s Acti.ev platform, the Harrier EV offers both single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD options.
- RWD models produce 235 bhp and 315 Nm of torque, with a claimed range of up to 538 km.
- AWD models generate 309 bhp and 504 Nm, capable of sprinting from 0–100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.
Two battery options are available: 65 kWh and 75 kWh, with a maximum MIDC range of 622 km.
The Harrier EV comes packed with high-end features, including:
- 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Harman audio
- Digital driver’s display
- Panoramic sunroof
- Ventilated front seats
- Digital rear-view mirror
- 540-degree surround-view camera
- Wireless smartphone connectivity
- Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
The Harrier EV saw an impressive response with over 10,000 bookings in the first 24 hours of launch. Due to high demand, buyers can expect a waiting period of 3 to 7 months, depending on the variant and location.
Tata’s Harrier EV offers a solid mix of performance, premium features, and long-range capability. With deliveries underway, the electric SUV is set to shake up India’s EV segment.
