Volvo introduced the 2025 XC60 which is the second facelift version of the model since 2017. The automaker has given this facelift a significant update with some new features and design tweaks. The XC60 facelift will have two brand-new color options Forest Lake and Aurora Silver, along with a new grille in the front. Through these updates, the car gets an overall refreshed look and an improved features list.
To know more about what these changes are, let's dig deeper into the article.
The brand officially released a statement saying that there will be a new air intake just like the new XC90. There will be a major change at the front with a new diagonal slats grille and redesigned air vents in the bumper. Apart from that, the car will features some styling changes such as new alloy wheels and smoked-out effects for the tail lamps.
Along with the two brand-new colors Forest Lake and Aurora Silver, the XC60 would be available with Mulberry Red for the first time.
It is said that the layout of the interior will remain the same, but there will be some minor changes. There will be an upgraded speaker mesh grille, some new premium materials, and a new 11.2-inch freestanding infotainment screen.
The touchscreen infotainment also gets a new UX which is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Cockpit Platform processor. These will offer greater image quality, and over-the-air updates, and are claimed to be twice as fast as Volvo's previous infotainment system.
The brand is yet to reveal the engine specification, but it is expected to get the 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine (253 bhp and 360 Nm of torque) with all four-wheels-drive. The additional information also talks about a top speed of 180 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds.
