VinFast to Launch Limo Green by April 2026 VF3 micro SUV and VF5 electric crossover arriving by end of FY26-27
Vietnamese EV manufacturer, VinFast is aiming to further boost sales by introducing new mass market electric vehicles in the Indian market. The company is currently selling the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs; both assembled at its Tamil Nadu facility. VinFast is now planning to launch 3 new EVs, including the Limo Green 7-seater MPV, VF3 micro SUV and a sub-4 meter VF5 crossover.

It will be a 3-row MPV to rival the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMax 7. Likely to be launched in April 2026, the Limo Green will be locally developed at the brand’s Tamil Nadu facility. The company has already patented the design in India. It measures 4740mm in length, 1872mm in width and 1728mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2840mm. The electric MPV features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, 4-speaker sound system, a single-zone automatic climate control, 4 airbags, ABS and an electronic parking brake.
The Limo Green is packed with a 60.13kWh battery pack with a front-axle-mounted electric motor rated at 201hp and offers 280Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer NEDC range of 450km in a single charge. The battery supports 11kW AC and 80kW DC fast charging, and the latter taking 30 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 70%.

Unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the VinFast VF3 will be the brand’s entry-level electric passenger vehicle, and will directly rival the MG Comet EV and the Tata Tiago EV. In the global markets, the small EV is available with a single battery pack option coupled to a rear-axle-mounted (RWD) electric motor. It is packed with an 18.64kWh battery with a rear-axle-mounted electric motor rated at 41PS and offers a peak torque of 110Nm. This micro EV is claimed to offer a range of up to 215km on a single charge.
The small EV measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width and 1,622mm in height. This small EV has a wheelbase of 2,075mm, and has a ground clearance of 191mm. Key features include a twin-spoke steering wheel, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, dual front airbags, manual AC, power windows, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, reverse camera and others.
The Vietnamese EV maker is also considering bringing the VF5 electric crossover in the sub-4 meter space in India. It is already on sale in Vietnam and Indonesia. The EV is offered with two battery choices, including a 29.6kWh paired with a 95bhp motor and a 37.23kWh battery coupled to a 136bhp electric motor. While the former offers 268km of range, the later is claimed to offer NEDC range of 326km.
It measures 3967mm in length, and has a wheelbase of 2514mm. The electric EV comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, keyless entry, leatherette seats, a PM2.5 air filtration system, auto AC and others.
