VinFast has launched the new VF MPV 7, a new 7-seater electric MPV in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 24.49 lakh, ex-showroom. At the launch event, the Vietnamese brand revealed its plans of introducing two more electric cars in the country before the end of this financial year. It is expected that the company will introduce the VF3 and VF5 EVs in the country.

VinFast will launch its smallest electric micro SUV, the VF3 in the Indian market to rival the likes of the MG Comet EV and the Tata Tiago EV. This electric vehicle was unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It is offered with a single battery pack coupled to a rear-axle-mounted (RWD) electric motor. It is powered by an 18.6kWh battery with a rear-mounted electric motor offering 41PS and 110Nm of torque. This micro EV is claimed to offer a range of up to 215km on a single charge.
In terms of proportions, the VinFast VF3 measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width and 1,622mm in height. This small EV has a wheelbase of 2,075mm, and has a ground clearance of 191mm. It is packed with a twin-spoke steering wheel, a 10.1-inch central touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, dual front airbags, manual AC, power windows, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera and others.
It is expected that the VF5 electric crossover could be the next product from the Vietnamese EV manufacturer in the Indian market. It will be a sub-4 meter crossover to rival the likes of the Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV 3XO EV and the upcoming Kia Syros EV. In the global markets, the VinFast VF5 is available with two battery choices, including a 29.6kWh paired with a 95bhp motor and a 37.23kWh battery coupled to a 136bhp electric motor. While the former offers 268km of range, the later is claimed to offer NEDC range of 326km.
In terms of proportions, the VF5 is 3967mm in length, and has a wheelbase of 2514mm. The electric EV comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, keyless entry, leatherette seats, a PM2.5 air filtration system, auto AC and others.
