VinFast Limo Green electric MPV launch in H1, 2026 VF3 India launch expected by festive season
Buoyed by the positive response for the new VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, VinFast is planning to further boost its product portfolio for the Indian market. The company plans to launch two more models, including the VF3 micro EV and the Limo Green three-row electric MPV in 2026. Both electric vehicles will be manufactured at its Tamil Nadu based production facility.
The Vietnamese EV maker will first launch the 3-row electric vehicle, Limo Green. It will be a 5+2 model, and will take on the BYD eMax 7 and the Kia Carens Clavis EV. The electric MPV will be packed with a 60.1kWh battery pack with a 201hp, front-axle-mounted electric motor. It is claimed to offer a certified range of up to 450km in a single charge. It supports 11kW AC and 80kW DC fast charging. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 10 to 70% charging status in 30 minutes.
VinFast is also introducing its electric ride-hailing service, Green and Smart Mobility (GSM), in India. It measures 4740mm in length, 1872mm in width and 1728mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2840mm. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, 4-speaker sound system, a single-zone automatic climate control, 4 airbags, ABS and an electronic parking brake.

This will be the brand’s entry-level electric passenger vehicle, and will directly rival the MG Comet EV and the Tata Tiago EV. It is likely to come with a battery as a subscription plan. In the global markets, the VinFast VF3 is available with a single battery pack option coupled to a rear-axle-mounted (RWD) electric motor. It is packed with an 18.64kWh battery with a rear-axle-mounted electric motor rated at 41PS and offers a peak torque of 110Nm. This micro EV is claimed to offer a range of up to 215km on a single charge.
It measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width and 1,622mm in height. This small EV has a wheelbase of 2,075mm, and has a ground clearance of 191mm. Inside, the micro SUV gets a 2-spoke steering wheel and a 10-inch touchscreen unit. The touch unit also works as the driver’s display, as there is no separate unit for the instrument console behind the steering. In terms of features, the VF3 gets dual front airbags, manual air-conditioning, and power windows. ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, reverse camera and others.
