4 New Electric SUVs to Watch Out for This Year

4 new electric SUVs launching in India this year. Tata Safari.ev will be a 3-row electric SUV. Sierra.ev and others offer up to 600 km range.

Electric cars are becoming more popular in India. Better options, more charging stations, and rising awareness are helping this growth. In the coming months, four new electric SUVs will be launched, giving buyers more choices across different budgets.

Check out the upcoming electric SUVs in 2026:

1. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella will be brand’s first electric SUV in India. It is closely related to the Maruti e Vitara and is expected to launch soon.

It will come with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery options, offering a range of up to 543 km. The expected starting price is around Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong entry-level EV option.

3. Kia Syros EV

Kia Syros EV will compete with the Tata Nexon.ev. It will look similar to the petrol model but with EV-specific changes like a closed grille and better aerodynamics.

Kia is likely to offer two battery options, with the larger one delivering around 500 km range.
