5 New JSW Cars Coming Including EVs and Hybrids

JSW plans 5 SUVs EVs and hybrids incoming Launches start soon

JSW Motors is gearing up to enter the Indian car market with an aggressive strategy.

 

The company is expected to launch five new SUVs over the next 2-3 years, focusing on electric and hybrid powertrains. These models will be based on products from Chery and its sub-brands.

 

1. Jetour T2

 

The first SUV from JSW Motors is expected to be based on the Jetour T2.

 

It will be a large D-segment SUV designed to rival models like the Toyota Fortuner.

 

This SUV is likely to come with a plug-in hybrid setup, offering an electric-only range of around 139 km. Launch is expected by September.

2. Jaecoo J5

 

The next model could arrive in early 2027 and will be based on the Jaecoo J5.

 

Positioned as a compact SUV, it is expected to rival the Hyundai Creta Electric.

 

JSW Motors is likely to introduce it as a pure electric SUV with a claimed range of around 461 km.

 

3. iCar V23

 

The iCar V23-based SUV will bring a more rugged and retro design.

 

It will be offered as an electric SUV with both single-motor and dual-motor options.

 

The range is expected to be between 360 km and 430 km, depending on the variant. Launch could take place in 2027.

 

4. Jaecoo J7

 

The Jaecoo J7-based SUV will target the mid-size segment. It is expected to be offered with hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.

 

This model could compete with upcoming hybrids like the Kia Seltos Hybrid. Launch is likely in late 2027.

 

5. Chery Q

 

JSW Motors is also planning a more affordable electric SUV based on the Chery Q.

 

This model could rival the MG Windsor EV in India. It is expected to offer a driving range of around 400 km and could launch by 2028.
