Cashing in on the opportunity of the festive season, Audi India has introduced the Q7 Limited Edition in the Indian market. At Rs 88.08 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition adds some cosmetic upgrades and a unique Barrique Brown colour scheme to the luxury SUV. Interestingly, Audi chose to sell just 50 units of this Limited Edition in the country.
The Audi Q7 Limited Edition is based on the top-of-the-line Technology variant. It features an exclusive Barrique Brown exterior paint scheme, while the visible changes upfront includes a slightly tweaked front grille, a more sporty treatment for the air curtains and a front skid plate finished in silver. Additionally, it gets a High-Gloss Styling Package as standard along with running boards, Quattro entry LED door lights and Audi logo decals.
Furthermore, the Limited Edition Q7 gets all the bells and whistles of the Technology trim such as 19 inches 5 spoke alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, 4 zone climate control system, Audi virtual cockpit, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch response and 19 speakers Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound amongst others. Other key highlights of the luxury SUV include Park assist with parking aid plus, 360-degree cameras, Lane Departure warning, Audi drive select, 8 airbags and more
In terms of pricing, this limited edition costs Rs. 1.82 lakh less than the regular top-spec Q7 Technology trim, despite getting all the standard equipment along with some special touches.
As with the case of every other Limited Edition, this too doesn’t get any mechanical changes. The Limited Edition continues to be powered by the 3.0 litre V6 TFSI petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid system. The set-up belts out 340 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque, and comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Audi offers the Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard with the Q7.
In India, the Q7 rivals the likes of BMW X5, Mercedes Benz GLE, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery in its segment.
