To be offered in two variants 50 and 55 114 kWh battery pack offers up to 600 km of range Rivals the Jaguar I-Pace
German automaker Audi Cars is gearing up to introduce the facelifted version of its e-tron electric SUV. Called the Audi Q8 e-tron and Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback, the electric SUVs will make their debut in the Indian market on 18 August 2023. Both electric SUVs will be available in two trims, with a claimed range of over 600 km.

Both models of the 2023 Q8 e-tron are powered by a dual-electric motor setup. The 50 variant uses a 95 kWh battery pack and produces 340 bhp with 664 Nm of peak torque, with a claimed range of 491 km (SUV) of 505 km (Sportback).
In comparison, the 55 trim uses a larger 114 kWh battery pack and churns out 408 bhp with 664 Nm max torque from its electric motors. Claimed range is 582 km for the SUV and up to 600 km for the Sportback.
Both models will get a 22 kW AC charger and support up to 170 kW DC fast charging. The electric SUVs have charging ports on either side, making it easier to put them on charge.

Being one of Audi’s premium models, the Q8 e-tron siblings come loaded to the brim with features. It gets powered and ventilated front seats with memory and massage functions, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, an 8.6-inch touchscreen for the HVAC controls, and a fully-digital instrument console. Other notable features include a panoramic sunroof, quad-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera system, a 16-speaker audio setup from Band & Olufsen, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.
With Mercedes-Benz EQC being discontinued this year, the Q8 e-tron and the Q8 e-tron Sportback will rival the Jaguar I-pace. The latter is priced between Rs 1.19 crore (ex-showroom) - Rs 1.24 crore (ex-showroom).
