Citroen has released a teaser video of the interior of its new model, Basalt. It will be officially revealed on 2nd August 2024. Through this is a very short video, one gets an indication of what kind of design and interiors that are going to define this new car.

Comfort is paramount in the Basalt. The teaser indicates that Basalt comes with armrests on both the front and rear occupants, side support for headrests, and also a phone holder slot in the rear armrest. The seats and the interior configuration will give everyone on board a comfortable and enjoyable ride.

In this new model, it is expected to get new seat upholstery, dual digital display for a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, and a 7-inch instrument console. Additionally, it could have automatic climate control, wireless Android and Apple CarPlay, a push start/stop, cruise control, wireless charging, and an adjustable steering wheel.
Citroen Basalt will feature a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit making 108bhp and 205Nm of torque, with a choice between 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions. This is the same powertrain that powers the C3 Aircross and the C3 hatchback.
The latest teaser for Citroen Basalt interiors highlights the modern design and the comfort for passengers. It is likely to be priced between Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 16 lakh. While Citroen works on finalizing this model, it is going to attract the buyer who wants something stylish yet practical.
