The popular Hyundai Creta has recently received a performance-oriented version in the country. The company has also ramped up the production, as the waiting period for the standard Creta has also been reduced. The Hyundai Creta is available in 7 trim levels - E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O) - priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Creta petrol variants currently command a waiting period of up to 2 to 3 months. The diesel Creta is more in demand, hence attracts a long waiting period. The SUV comes with a waiting period of around 5 to 6 months from the day of booking. The waiting period depends on multiple factors including variant, engine and colour option one opted. Adding to it, dealership stock availability and region also plays a significant role in increase of waiting period.

The Hyundai Creta is available with 3 engine options - a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The NA petrol engine produces 114PS and 144Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol unit is good for 160PS and 253 Nm. The turbo diesel engine is capable of producng 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a torque convertor automatic, a CVT, and a 7-speed DCT.
As a reminder, the Creta N Line is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of producing 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Hyundai has stiffened the suspension set-up to offer a more firm ride experience.
