Hyundai Earth Concept Could Preview Ioniq 3, Venus Hints at Ioniq 6 Successor

Earth concept may preview Hyundai Ioniq 3 SUV Venus hints at next-gen Ioniq 6 fastback New design direction for future Hyundai EVs

Hyundai has introduced two new concept cars called Earth and Venus. These models give a clear idea of what the brand’s future electric cars could look like.

They are expected to be fully revealed on April 10, 2026, at a special Ioniq brand event. While they are still concepts, they strongly hint at upcoming production models.

Earth Concept Could Become Ioniq 3

The Earth concept looks like a bold and boxy SUV. It is widely expected to preview a compact electric SUV, likely to be called the Ioniq 3.

It features a unique Y-shaped LED lighting setup at the front, giving it a futuristic look. The short bonnet and long windscreen add to its modern design.

With squared wheel arches and strong body lines, the Earth concept appears to be designed for practical everyday use.

Venus Concept Points to Next Ioniq 6

The Venus concept has a more stylish and sporty design. It looks like a sleek fastback and could hint at the next-generation Ioniq 6.

It gets a sloping roofline, smooth body shape, and slim LED tail lamps at the rear. A black spoiler adds to its sporty appeal.

This concept is likely focused on performance and premium design.

New Design Direction

With these concepts, Hyundai is moving away from its current pixel-style design seen on existing Ioniq models.

The new design looks sharper and more modern. It shows a clear shift in the brand’s approach to future EV styling.

What to Expect Next

While these are concept models, they give a strong preview of upcoming cars.

Production versions based on these designs could arrive around 2027 or 2028. They are expected to come with better technology, improved range, and new platforms.

Hyundai’s Bigger EV Plan

Hyundai is planning to expand its electric car lineup globally. The company aims to launch multiple new EVs by 2030.

The Earth and Venus concepts are an early look at this plan, showing what’s coming next from the brand.
