2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 gets a larger 84kWh battery Offers 690km range
Hyundai Motor India limited has launched the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV at an ex-showroom price of Rs 55.70 lakh. The new electric SUV comes with comprehensive upgrades in terms of performance, tech, safety and features. It comes equipped with a larger 84kWh battery pack, delivering driving range of up to 690 km (ARAI certified) on a single charge.
The SUV comes with subtle design changes in the form of revised bumpers, new front and rear skid plates, new alloy wheels and new rear spoiler, and Hi-tech V-garnish lighting. The Ioniq 5 facelift continues to offer a spacious and premium cabin, which is further improved by adding new features.
It comes with a newly styled 3-spoke leather steering wheel with 4-dots illuminated design and centre fascia. This leather-wrapped steering wheel comes with 4-dots pixel light and heating function. The SUV gets a dual screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. It also gets restyled wireless charging pad with integrated physical controls for heated and ventilated seats.
The SUV also gets a new connected car navigation cockpit and controller over-the-air (OTA). The infotainment unit is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets a new Active Sound Design, remote immobilization via Hyundai Bluelink, and new in-car payment integration which allows user to pay for EV charging directly via the infotainment screen.
The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 also comes with an updated driver assistance system with new features like Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist - Rear, and Parking Distance Warning. It is offered in 4 exterior colour choices including Gravity Gold Matte, Midnight Black pearl, Tital Grey and Optic White.
