Updated hatchback gets cosmetic changes Top spec variant is priced at Rs 11.1 lakh Turbo-petrol powertrain has been discontinued
Hyundai Motor India has announced the launch of the 2023 i20 hatchback at a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted model is offered with a futuristic design, a comfortable interior and top-notch safety.

The 2023 Hyundai i20 features a sleek and futuristic design. The updated model features a new front grille, and revamped front and rear bumpers, creating a bold and dynamic stance. Additionally, the new i20 is also provided with new LED headlamps with signature LED DRLs, improved aerodynamics, sharp lines and 16-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, Hyundai has offered dual-tone grey and black interiors, complemented by semi-leatherette seats, a stylish leather-wrapped D-Cut steering wheel and leatherette door armrests.
Other notable features include a BOSE premium 7-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, an advanced infotainment system and an immersive ambient sound experience with 7 nature-inspired soundscapes.

Hyundai has also focused on taking technology to a whole new level by providing 60+ connected car features. There are also 127 Embedded VR commands, Over-the-Air updates, a C-Type charger, 52 Hinglish voice commands, and Multilanguage UI support that includes 10 regional and 2 international languages.

The new Hyundai i20 facelift provides 26 safety features as standard. These include six airbags, Hill Assist Control, Electronic Stability Control, Anti Lock Braking System, Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Brake Distribution, and more. As an additional security, Hyundai also offers 3-point seatbelts with reminders for all seats.

Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 facelift boasts a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine paired with Manual and Intelligent Variable transmission options. It also offers an Idle Stop and Go feature to boost fuel efficiency.
Hyundai is offering a new Amazon Grey colour option for the new i20. Besides, there are other colour options including Titan Grey, Atlas White, Starry Night, Typhoon Silver, and Fiery Red. Dual colour options include Fiery Red with Black Roof and Atlas White with Black Roof.
The price of the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift is set at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant while for the top-spec variant, the hatchback is priced at Rs 11.1 lakh (ex-showroom).
