It is expected to make its official debut by August 2026, while the launch is expected by October 2026 before Diwali.
The new Jetour T2 is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh, ex-showroom. It will rival the likes of the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier and others.

The Jetour T2 has a boxy, rugged design, featuring a flat, upright front fascia and flared wheel arches. It is equipped with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel and prominent lower bumper. Despite carrying hardcore looks, the Jetour T2 uses a monocoque chassis that ensures it handles like a car on city roads. The SUV offers a massive 220mm ground clearance and 700mm water-wading depth.
The JSW Jetour T2 comes with a premium cabin, featuring a massive 15.6-inch central touchscreen powered by the Snapdragon 8155 chip. It is packed with 12-speaker Sony Sound System with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), ventilated and heated front seats, panoramic sunroof and LEVEL 2 ADAS suite.

The new Jetour T2 is reportedly to be offered turbo petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The ICE-powered model is expected to get a 1.5L turbo petrol engine producing 184PS and 290Nm, and paired with a 7-speed DCT. The International-spec model also has a 254PS, 2.0L turbo petrol engine with 4WD setup and a 7-speed DCT.
The Plug-in hybrid version is packed with a 156hp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine and a 26.7kWh battery. It is offered with both front-mounted electric motor (FWD) and dual-motor AWD setup. The AWD T2 offers a combined power and torque output of 381hp and 610Nm, respectively. This setup could be tuned to achieve higher fuel efficiency for the Indian market. Paired to a 3-speed DHT, the battery offers an NEDC-certified all-electric range of 139km. The SUV is claimed to offer a combined driving range of over 1000km.
