The EV6 facelift gets an all-new front fascia. The angular LED DRLs now replace the conventional headlights. Additionally, the headlamps get a new design, inspired by the EV3 and EV9. Besides, the front bumper and the lower grill feature a fresh look. The rest of the exterior design seems to be the same, except for the new black and stylish wheels in the sizes of 19 inches and 20 inches.
Moving on to the inside, the EV6 comes equipped with a range of feature updates. It gets a curved panoramic screen housing an infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. Its two-spoke steering wheel now has a fingerprint reader. The updated model also provides wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital rear-view mirror, an augmented reality navigation system, an improved head-up display, and more.
The EV6 facelift gets a new battery setup in the replacement of the old 77.4 kWh unit. The updated model is powered by a new 84 kWh battery pack from the Hyundai Motor Group. The range has also been improved from 475 km to 494 km for the RWD model. As for the charging options, the battery supports 350 kW DC fast charging and can be charged from 10-80 percent in just 18 minutes.
Kia is likely to launch the EV6 facelift in India in 2025 along with other models including updated Carens MPV. For now, the brand is getting ready to make the global debut of Kia Syros.
