Kia India has introduced a new variant of the Sonet SUV. The all-new GTX trim offers a range of features and colour options. Positioned between HTX+ and GTX+, this newly added trim is priced at Rs 13.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new GTX variant offers a range of tech and safety features. These include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an air purifier, LED fog lamps, a powered driver seat, front & rear parking sensors, six airbags, 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor, among others.
The Sonet GTX is offered with seven exterior paint schemes, namely Pewter Olive, Sparkling Silver, Aurora Balck Pearl, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, and Glacier White Pearl. In addition to it, the X-Line variant gets a new Aurora Black Pearl colour; earlier it was only offered with Matte Graphite colour.
As for the engine, the GTX variant is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. While the turbo petrol is paired to a 7-speed DCT gearbox, the diesel unit is mated to a 6-speed automatic torque converter option.
