Features include a sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and ventilated seats Offers drive modes and adaptive cruise Syros will launch in January 2025
Kia is ready to introduce Syros, a compact SUV in India on December 19, 2024. This latest version is more advanced, hence it is targeting customers for a premium experience. This Syros is distinguished as it offers several features that are not available in Kia Sonet.
The Syros will have a panoramic sunroof. This adds a feeling of openness to the cabin. It makes the interior look bigger and lets in more light. The Sonet does not offer this feature, making the Syros feel more luxurious.
The Syros will have Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This makes driving safer and easier. It features lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. The Sonet only offers Level 1 ADAS, with fewer safety features.
The front seats of the Syros will be ventilated and powered. This implies that they will remain cool even in hot weather. You can also adjust them easily with buttons. Sonet's seats are ventilated but not powered. This gives the Syros an advantage.
The Syros will offer multiple drive and traction modes. These modes help the car adapt to different terrains like sand or mud. The Sonet has fewer options, making the Syros better for all kinds of road conditions.
The Syros will come with adaptive cruise control. This feature automatically reduces the car's speed for maintaining a safe distance from the car in front. Highway driving becomes comfortable and less stressful.
Kia will launch the Syros on December 19, 2024. The launch is expected in January 2025, maybe at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The probable starting price is Rs. 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Syros will benefit from the same engines as the Sonet. It includes:
The Kia Syros is an advanced product with powerful engines and a competitive price. This will give the challengers in the compact SUV category a run for their money.
