German automaker Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new EQE electric-SUV in the international market. The multi-purpose variant of the EQE saloon is the fourth all-electric SUV from the stables of Mercedes Benz, following the EQA, EQB and the EQC. Here is everything you need to know.

The Mercedes EQE SUV looks very similar to its sedan sibling but is a bit shorter. The front LED headlights are connected by a lightbar across the width of the SUV while the side profile features sharply raked A-pillars. The rear end of the EQE has an almost cascading effect due to its smooth, non-protruding bumper. The electric SUV is also one of the most aerodynamic car in the segment, with a drag coefficient of 0.26.

Moving to the inside, the Mercedes EQE SUV uses a mix of synthetic and natural materials like NeoTex and leather. The dashboard is dominated by the MBUX Hyperscreen which uses three separate touchscreen displays each for instrument cluster, infotainment system and passenger display. The automaker has stated it has integrated more streaming services like Spotify natively into the MBUX system. Other features include dual-zone climate control, electric seats, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
The EQE SUV also comes loaded with ADAS tech like active brake assist, active lane keeping assist, parking package with reversing camera and speed limit assist.

The Mercedes EQE SUV uses a 90.5 kWh battery pack. The entry-level EQE 350+ comes with a single permanent synchronous motor, while all other variants come with a dual motor setup featuring the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive technology. The automaker claims the electric SUV has a range of up to 590 kms.
