Electric mobility with a range of 460 km on a single charge. Safety features include Level 2 ADAS. It features sleek silver 18-inch alloy wheels
MG Motors is going to turn around the entire automotive marketplace for electric vehicles with the introduction of their newest MG Cloud EV. Expected to be much more than eco-friendly, this crossover is equipped with the latest features and roomy interiors. The expected price range is between Rs. 15 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh, and it is set to launch in the upcoming festive season.
The MG Cloud EV comes with a powerful 50.6kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LEP) battery that delivers ample energy to the crossover design. It can travel a distance of approximately 460km on a single charge, so it will not have any issues during a long journey. Under the hood, the MG EV guarantees responsive acceleration with its maximum power of 100kW and torque of 200Nm.
AC home charging, from 20% to 100%, takes about 7 hours for an overnight operation. DC fast charging from 30% to 100% would take half an hour to quicken the charge, perfect for topping up during stops.
The dimensions are expected as 4295mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1652mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2700mm, providing stable handling. Accommodating five, it is a crossover, with plenty of room in the cabin.
The highlight of the cabin is an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster running side by side with a large touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin will be quite comfortable, with the conveniences of dual-tone upholstery, rear AC vents, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. This touch-based interface makes the vehicle more modern than ever.
This technology superiority of the MG Cloud EV also goes to connected car technology, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, and a 360° camera system for better safety and convenience. Ventilated seats further enhance the driving experience with the promise of comfort on all trips that the MG Cloud EV would take.
The exterior of the MG Cloud EV has clean, aerodynamically efficient lines. Besides, there are flush door handles and sleek silver 18-inch alloy wheels that present the modern look of the car. The rear has connected LED tail lights, complementing the stylish rear style of the car. Other main exterior highlights are the door-mounted Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) and the panoramic sunroof, making it more stylish and functional in design.
The MG Cloud EV is evidence of a breakthrough with new technology for electric cars merged with the promise of high performance and modern features. The MG Cloud Crossover is the one that brings eco-friendliness, comfort, convenience, and style. As the automotive industry moves ahead with the spirit of electric mobility, the MG Cloud EV is ready to set new benchmarks and redefine expectations of what a mid-modern crossover can achieve.
