MG Motor has officially launched the all-new M9 electric MPV in India today at an introductory price of Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). With a bold design, premium cabin, advanced features, and a claimed range of 548km, the M9 is set to compete in the luxury electric MPV space.
Booking for the MG M9 have started at the token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Customers can visit the website (www.mgselect.co.in) or the nearest MG SELECT Experience Centres to reserve their luxury MPV. Deliveries will start from August 10.
The MG M9 may have a traditional van-like shape, but it comes with several stylish design elements that give it a modern look.

The front fascia gets a blanked-off grille, sharp LED DRLs, and an aggressively styled bumper.

On the side, 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and chrome inserts add a premium touch.

The rear features a connected LED tail lamp, enhancing its futuristic vibe.
The M9 is offered in colour options- Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black and Concrete Grey.

Inside, the MG M9 focuses on comfort and tech with a long list of features. Some of these include:
- 12.23-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- 7-inch digital driver’s display
- 13-speaker JBL sound system
- Panoramic sunroof, digital IRVM, cabin air filter
- Powered front and rear seats with massage, heating and ventilation
- Leather and suede upholstery
- Connected car technology, Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functions

The second-row is the main highlight of the M9.
It offers two captain seats with 16-way electric adjustment, ottoman footrests, and boss mode to slide the front seat forward for more legroom.

Features like massaging, heating, cooling, rear entertainment screens, ambient lighting, and panoramic sunroof ensure a lounge-like feel.
MG has equipped the M9 with high-end safety features, including:
- 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera
- Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- 5-star crash safety rating in Euro NCAP and Australian NCAP
The M9 comes with a 90kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 245hp and 350Nm of torque.
- MG claims a driving range of 548km (internal testing).
- 160kW DC fast charging can charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 90 minutes
- A standard 11kW AC charger takes around 10 hours for a full charge.
