The all-new MG M9 electric MPV made its public debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. This 7-seater model is expected to launch in April 2025. Pre-bookings for the MG M9 are now open through MG Select dealerships and the official website, with a token amount of Rs 51,000.
Note: The M9 will be sold through MG’s premium ‘MG Select’ showrooms, alongside the upcoming MG Cyberster EV.
According to sources, the MG M9 will be brought to India via the CKD route and assembled locally, which could help the brand price it competitively in the Indian EV market.

The M9 has a large, boxy design with connected LED DRLs, projector LED headlights, a sporty front bumper, 19-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lights, giving it a bold and modern look.
Inside, the all-electric luxury MPV gets a black and tan colour theme with soft-touch materials on the dashboard, doors, and centre console. The cabin features a minimalist dashboard, two screens, and a 2-spoke steering wheel. It will be available globally in 6- and 7-seater options, with all seats getting leatherette upholstery.
The M9 is packed with features like a sunroof for front seats, a panoramic sunroof for rear seats, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, 12-speaker sound system, digital driver’s display, and powered, ventilated, and massaging seats for both front and rear rows. It also offers 3-zone automatic AC for added comfort.
Safety-wise, the MPV is expected to include multiple airbags, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all wheels, and an electronic parking brake. It may also come with Level-2 ADAS features like adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning.
MG M9 will be powered by a 90kWh battery and a single electric motor that produces 244bhp and 350Nm of torque. It promises a range of 430km on a full charge and supports 125kW DC fast charging, which can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Overall, the MG M9 is shaping up to be a stylish, feature-rich, and practical electric MPV for Indian families.
