Mahindra is testing facelifted versions of the XUV700 and the Scorpio-N, which are likely to arrive in our market in 2026. The Mahindra XUV700 facelift is most likely to arrive in January 2026, while the Scorpio-N facelift could launch by the end of this financial year. Adding to it, Mahindra will introduce an all-new 7-seater electric SUV, rumoured to be called the XEV 7e, before the end of this year.
The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 will come with substantial design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. Majority of the design changes will be made to the front fascia. It will receive a revised front grille and a new LED headlamp setup, and a redesigned C-shaped LED DRLs signature. Other changes could include new bumpers, new tail-lights and new alloys.
The XUV700 facelift will come with an all-new cabin with dashboard layout inspired by the XEV 7e. It will get a triple screen layout comprising a central infotainment unit, an instrument panel and a co-occupant entertainment unit. The SUV will get Harman/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos, auto-dimming IRVM, front parking sensors, ADAS LEVEL 2+ system, etc.
No mechanical changes will be made. It will continue to be offered with a 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engine. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic unit.

The Scorpio-N facelift is likely to receive minor cosmetic design and interior changes; however, the cabin will have more features. The SUV could get a redesigned front grille with new LED headlamps, new bumper, revised tail-lights and new set of alloys.
Inside the cabin, the Scorpio-N facelift is likely to receive a larger touchscreen infotainment unit and an updated instrument console. The SUV is likely to source some of its features with the Thar Roxx and XUV700. It will continue to be offered with the same 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel engines. The SUV will come with a choice of a 6MT or 6AT transmission. A 4-wheel drive system will be offered with select variants.
