The 2024 Paris Motor Show showcased an array of new cars and concepts from different automakers including Renault and Citroen. Among them was the most-awaited Dacia Bigster which was showcased in a fully production-ready avatar. It impressed many viewers with its strong presence and spacious interior.
Here we will show you real-world photos of the all-new Dacia Bigster.
From the outside, it looks quite similar to its concept version which was showcased previously. It features a glossy black grille with a Dacia emblem in the centre.
Its elegant LED headlights with the Y-shaped design look catchy. Besides, there are fog lights positioned beside the bumper and a silver skid plate.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 4.57m in length, 1.81m in width, and 1.71m in height with a wheelbase of 2.7m.
Moving on to the interior, it highlights a dual-tone (Black & Grey) interior theme made of sustainable materials. Dacia Bigster is offered with a 5-seater configuration only. However, in India, it could come as a Renault Duster 7 Seater or a Bigster 7 Seater in 2025.
The rear seat can be split 40:20:40, resulting in more boot space from 667 litres to up to 1000 litres.
This 5-seater Bigster is packed with a range of features including a panoramic sunroof, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, wireless phone charging, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, and a 10-inch digital driver's display.
The SUV is also available with a Level 2 ADAS kit which comprises Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Assist.
In terms of powertrains, it gets multiple engine choices. Its hybrid 155 setup comprises a combustion engine, 2 electric motors, a 1.4 kWh battery, and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The 4-cylinder petrol unit can deliver 108 bhp of power while its electric motors can add another 50 bhp.
Another one is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a mild hybrid setup, paired to a 6-speed manual. It also comes with an Eco-G 140, which features a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo unit. Get more information here
