Renault is preparing to update its popular subcompact SUV, the Kiger, just in time for the 2025 festive season. The Renault Kiger facelift will bring a few cosmetic changes, some additional features, and familiar engine options.

The updated Kiger will get a redesigned front end with styling inspired by Renault’s global models, particularly the Kardian SUV. Expect a new bumper design with a larger air intake and a more aggressive look overall. While the split headlamp layout remains, the lights themselves may get reworked elements for a fresher appearance. The grille will also be tweaked and feature Renault’s new logo.
Fog lamps are making a comeback on this model, likely with full LED treatment on higher trims. The overall design changes are expected to be subtle, mostly limited to plastic parts, meaning the body panels and sheet metal will likely stay the same.
Inside, the Kiger facelift is likely to get small but noticeable upgrades. Renault is expected to use better materials, new seat fabrics, and a few soft-touch elements. The twin digital displays and 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will continue on higher variants. However, a sunroof will not be part of the feature list, which could be a drawback for some people.
Renault will continue offering the same two petrol engines on the facelifted Kiger. This includes a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces 72hp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. The more powerful 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 100hp will remain available with a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. No mechanical updates are expected, keeping performance and fuel efficiency figures unchanged.
Renault Kiger facelift is expected to go on sale before Diwali 2025. It will continue to be positioned as an affordable alternative in the sub-4m SUV segment, sitting below rivals like the Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue.
