Renault Kiger facelift has arrived with a mix of cosmetic tweaks, new technology, and enhanced safety features. Priced from Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the compact SUV now also offers a turbo-petrol variant starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). With these updates, Renault is aiming to make the Kiger a stronger contender in the budget-friendly SUV space.
Renault Kiger facelift now carries a slimmer front grille, sleek DRLs, and Renault’s new logo at the center. The headlamp housing has been revised, along with a newly styled bumper featuring fog lamps. The SUV also gets new 16-inch alloy wheels and a brand-new green paint option, while the overall silhouette remains unchanged.
Inside, the Renault Kiger facelift offers a refreshed dual-tone dashboard in black and light grey. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a fully digital instrument cluster. The SUV continues to provide a 405-litre boot space and 222 mm of kneeroom for rear passengers.
Feature highlights include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and automatic headlamps and wipers. On the safety front, the SUV gets six airbags as standard, ESP, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Renault Kiger facelift is offered in four trims - Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Prices (ex-showroom) are as follows:
Authentic: Rs 6.29 lakh
Evolution: Rs 7.09 lakh
Techno: Rs 8.19 lakh - Rs 9.99 lakh (Turbo-CVT)
Emotion: Rs 9.14 lakh - Rs 11.26 lakh (Turbo-CVT)
The Renault Kiger facelift continues with two petrol engine choices:
1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine - 72 hp, available with a 5-speed manual or AMT.
1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine - 100 hp, offered with a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic.
Renault claims that the turbo-petrol variant delivers the best 0-100 kmph acceleration time in its segment, making it the sportiest choice in the Kiger lineup.
