Skoda Auto will have an extensive product portfolio on showcase at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The Czech automaker’s first subcompact SUV – Kylaq – will make its first public appearance at the event. The new Skoda Kodiaq, new Superb, Octavia RS, Enyaq EV, Elroq midsize electric SUV and Vision S SUV concept will also grace the stage. While most of these models have already been discussed, let’s take a closer look at key details of the Skoda Elroq EV and Vision 7S concept.

Skoda Elroq EV marked debut of the brand’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language with its global unveiled in late 2024. In the company’s global product lineup, this EV sits between the Epiq compact electric SUV and the flagship Enyaq iV. The Elroq EV has been built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB architecture that also underpins the Volkswagen ID3 and several VW and Audi cars.
Measuring 4.49 metres in length, the Skoda Elroq EV is offered with three battery packs – 52kWh, 59kWh and 77kWh – delivering claimed ranges of over 370km, over 385km and over 560km (WLTP), respectively. In its top-spec version, the electric SUV accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 6.6 seconds and attains a top-speed of 180kmph.
The 52kWh and 59kWh batteries can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 25 minutes, while the larger 77kWh battery pack achieves a full charge in 28 minutes via a 175kW charger. The 77kWh battery version can also be had with the dual motor and AWD setup. As of now, the carmaker has no plan to bring in the Skoda Elroq EV in India. Even if its on the launch radar, this midsize electric SUV will go up against the Tata Curvv EV and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara, Hyundai Crea Electric and Mahindra BE 6.

Skoda Vision 7S concept was first unveiled in 2022 previewing the brand’s new logo and design language. It’s a three-row electric SUV concept that’s reported to make to production by 2026. The Vision 7S concept embodies Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language featuring curved surfaces, bold vertical creases and minimal lines. It features a newly-designed grille, T-shaped headlamps and taillamps.
The interior layout of the concept is entirely different from Skoda’s existing cars. It has a new steering wheel and oval shaped central boss design. There are no physical buttons. The electric SUV features a large central touchscreen, which can be used in landscape or portrait orientations.
The powertrain setup of the Skoda Vision 7S concept consists of an 89kWh battery offering a claimed WLTP range of over 600km. The carmaker claims that it can be charged at speeds of up to 200kW. The production-ready Vision 7S electric SUV will be based on the Volkswagen Group’s modular MEB platform. It will be introduced as an electric alternative of the Skoda Kodiaq.
