Skoda Slavia facelift will launch in India on August 18, 2026. The 1.0-litre TSI is expected to get a new 8-speed automatic gearbox. The updated sedan could get a 10.25-inch digital cluster and 360-degree camera.
Skoda Slavia facelift is set to launch in India on August 18, 2026. The updated midsize sedan will receive styling changes, additional features and an important transmission upgrade for the 1.0-litre TSI engine.
The facelift will continue to rival the Hyundai Verna and Volkswagen Virtus, while the new equipment and mechanical changes are expected to make the Slavia a more compelling option in the segment.
One of the biggest changes will be to the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine. The 115hp engine is expected to replace its existing 6-speed automatic gearbox with a new 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new gearbox is also expected to be used with the upcoming Kushaq facelift. It should offer smoother shifts and could also help improve fuel efficiency. The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine will continue to produce 150hp. It will remain available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The overall shape of the Slavia will remain familiar, but the facelift is expected to bring several changes to the front and rear sections. The sedan could get a wider and redesigned Skoda grille, along with revised LED lighting elements inspired by the brand's newer models.
The LED headlamps and taillamps are also expected to receive updated internal elements, while dynamic sequential indicators could add a more premium look. The front and rear bumpers are likely to get a sportier design, while new 16-inch and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels could complete the exterior updates.
The cabin layout is expected to remain largely unchanged, but Skoda is likely to add several new technology and comfort features. The existing 8-inch driver's display could be replaced by a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
The 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system is also expected to receive updated software and an AI-powered voice assistant. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto should continue to be offered.
Other expected additions include rear-seat massage functionality and front parking sensors. Existing features such as ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, a single-pane electric sunroof and touch-based climate controls are expected to continue.
The Slavia facelift is not expected to get ADAS. Instead, Skoda is likely to focus on improving the car's parking and convenience features with a 360-degree camera. The sedan should continue to offer six airbags, Electronic Stability Programme, traction control and ISOFIX mounts.
The MQB-A0-IN platform is expected to remain unchanged. As a result, the Slavia's existing 5-star Global NCAP safety rating should continue to apply, subject to the final specification.
The additional features and new 8-speed automatic gearbox are expected to result in a slight price increase. The Skoda Slavia facelift could start at around Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level variants. Official prices will be announced at the launch.
