Tata Motors has a large number of cars in its brand's portfolio. Some of the popular Tata cars including Nexon, Punch, and Curvv SUV Coupe witnessed the sales growth of 3-7 percent. However, Tiago, Altroz, Tigor, Harrier, and Safari could not perform well last month as these cars witnessed sales drop by 3-58 percent. Overall sales of Tata cars stood at 47,063 in November 2024, marking a growth of 2.2 percent compared to the last year's 46,070 units in November 2023.
Here is the sales break-up of Tata cars of November 2024 compared to November 2023.
In November 2023, Tata sold 14,916 units of Nexon SUV, while in November 2024, the brand managed to sell 413 units more. With total sales of 15,329 units, Nexon saw a growth of 3 percent last month.
The Punch is another popular model from the brand which sold 15,435 units in November 2024. This sees a growth of 7 percent over 14,383 units of sales sold last year in the same month.
Brand's first SUV coupe, Tata Curvv launched in September this year and about 5,101 units were sold last month. With the modern design and tech-loaded interior, we are sure that Tata Curvv will see more growth in the coming months and years.
Disappointment for Tata Tiago as it saw a 3 percent dip in sales last month. The brand only recorded sales of 5,319 units in November 2024 while it sold 5,508 units of Tiago last year in the same month.
Based on the sales report, Tata Motors has sold 1,563 units of Safari last month, seeing the sales dip by 29 percent as it sold 2,207 units in November 2023.
The Harrier SUV experienced better sales figures last year as it sold 2,326 units in November 2023. Unfortunately, this year, the brand could sell only 1,374 units in November 2024.
Like Altroz, Tata Tigor could not make good numbers as well. It witnessed a sales drop of 52 percent with only 859 units while last year, the brand sold 1,775 units of Altroz.
Big shock for Tata Altroz! It witnessed about 58 percent of sales dip last month compared to the previous year's report. The brand could only manage to sell 2,083 units in November 2024 whereas last year during the same time, about 4,955 units were sold.
