Tata Motors is gearing up for the launch of its highly anticipated model, the Curvv. Recent spy shots have captured the Curvv undergoing testing. The upcoming coupe seems to get a wider stance and a more commanding presence compared to the Tata Nexon. Let’s find out what else is there.
Tata Curvv: Design and Features
Noteworthy exterior design elements of the Tata Curvv include a striking full-width light bar up front, split LED headlamps, and a redesigned grille and bumper. There is also a sleek sloping roofline, shark fin antenna, and flush-fitting door handles. Interestingly, the reflector design and placement at the rear are quite similar to the new Nexon.
In terms of interior features, it is expected to get a prominent free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, an all-digital instrument cluster, and a twin-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Tata logo.
Other notable equipment comprises auto-dimming IRVM, touch-sensitive HVAC controls, and purple accents on the dashboard, similar to the Nexon. It is also believed that the coupe will have a blind spot assist feature which is also offered in Tata Harrier and the Safari.
Tata Curvv: Powertrain Details
The electric variant of the Curvv will debut first, followed by the ICE iteration. The latter will be powered by a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with manual and automatic transmissions. Upon its launch, the Curvv will take on rivals such as the Citroen Basalt and the Mahindra XUV.e9 in both ICE and EV models.
