Tata Tigor facelift is likely to launch before the festive season. It could get a new design, larger touchscreen and improved safety. Petrol, CNG and EV versions are expected to continue.
Tata Motors is getting ready to introduce the 2026 Tigor facelift in India. The updated compact sedan is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, following the launch of the refreshed Tiago and Tiago EV earlier this year.
The new Tigor is likely to receive a fresh design, a more premium cabin and several new features while continuing with its existing petrol, CNG and electric powertrain options.
The upcoming Tigor facelift is expected to adopt Tata's latest design language, making it look more modern than the current model.
At the front, the sedan is likely to feature sleeker headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, connected by a glossy black trim, similar to the recently updated Tiago. The front bumper has also been redesigned with sharper lines and a wider air intake, giving the car a stronger road presence.
From the side, buyers can expect a new design for the alloy wheels, while the rear is likely to get updated LED tail lamps, a revised connecting trim and a cleaner-looking bumper.
The facelift could also introduce a 360-degree camera system, with cameras mounted at the front and under the outside rear-view mirrors.

Inside, the Tigor facelift is expected to receive one of its biggest updates.
The cabin could get a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the smaller unit offered in the current model. A new digital instrument cluster is also expected to be part of the package.
Other likely additions include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, Type-C charging ports, auto-folding ORVMs and a redesigned steering wheel. These updates should make the Tigor's cabin feel much more premium than before.
Safety is another area where Tata is expected to make improvements. The facelifted Tigor could come with six airbags as standard across all variants, along with the expected 360-degree camera. These additions would strengthen the sedan's safety package and help it stay competitive in the segment.
Mechanically, the Tigor facelift is expected to remain unchanged. The standard model is likely to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 86 PS and 113 Nm, while the factory-fitted CNG version should continue to deliver 75.5 PS and 96.5 Nm.
Both versions are expected to be offered with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. Reports also suggest that the AMT variants could receive paddle shifters, although Tata has not officially confirmed this.
The Tigor EV facelift is also expected to arrive with similar styling and feature updates. It could borrow the 19 kWh and 24 kWh battery packs from the updated Tiago EV, although the driving range may differ slightly due to the sedan's larger size.
Tata Motors is expected to launch the updated Tigor before the festive season begins, giving buyers another refreshed option in the compact sedan segment.
