Tata Motors India has launched the 2025 Tigor at an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 5.99 lakh. This subcompact sedan will also showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The brand has updated the new Tigor with minor changes and added some more features. Tigor comes with both petrol and CNG variants. Tata has also opened bookings for the 2025 Tigor along with Tiago and Tiago EV.
Let's take a look at the updated price, variants, features, and powertrain:
Tata has revised the Tigor's price and variants. The base varinat XE has been discontinued, and the range now starts from the XM model at Rs. 6 lakh, ex-showroom. The previous XM model used to be priced at Rs. 6.60 lakh.
The new top variant, XZ Plus Lux, is priced at Rs. 8.50 lakh. The new prices of the XZ Plus trim have been set at Rs. 7.90 lakh, which is Rs. 10,000 more than the previous one. New pricing has also been given to CNG variants. The XT has replaced the older XM CNG and is available at Rs. 7.70 lakh. The XZ Plus CNG is at Rs. 9.50 lakh while the XZ Plus CNG is priced at Rs. 8.90 lakh.
The 2025 Tata Tigor has retained the original silhouette but has been enhanced with cosmetic changes. The front grille and front bumper have been restyled. The rear bumper also underwent some changes but the 15-inch alloy wheels are same.
Tata has armed the 2025 Tigor with some features that are unattainable in its predecessor. On the base XE model, there's a smart steering wheel with illumination, and an entirely digital instrument cluster. It gets new fabric seats, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors, and LED tail lamps.
The XZ Plus Lux is one of the loaded variants with special features, including a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the wireless medium and 360-camera, automatic climate control, cruise control, as well as the leather-wrapped steering wheel to make the car tech-savvy and convenient.
The engine options are the same as the previous model. The 2025 Tata Tigor still has a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. It is available with both a 5-speed manual and an automated manual transmission (AMT). The petrol engine produces 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. The CNG version produces 72bhp and 95Nm of torque.
